Cougar Cookers is a 100% volunteer effort. Most jobs require shifts of only an hour or two. Please consider giving a little time to support our organization.
Volunteers must be a paid donor or their guest. (Guest volunteers will work only on the day that their booth ticket is valid.)
Reception Committee is looking for volunteers to work a shift at the door for Cougar Cookers! Shifts are one hour shifts, two people per shift. Friday shifts start at 5 pm and Saturday at 3pm. Friday and Saturday nights the last shift is at 10 pm. No door volunteers are needed for Thursday night, since it is donors only. Volunteers who work reception will take invitations from guests and place wrist bands on each guest as well as make sure that only Donors with a name badge or guests with a wrist band are allowed in. Site Committee starts with a parking space with a tent over it and ends up with a restaurant and bar that serves 2,000 over the three days of the Rodeo Championship Bar-B-Q Cook Off. We need your help. We start Tuesday Morning, work Wednesday and take it down on Sunday morning. Contact Tony if interested.
Decorations Committee begins Thursday morning. Duties vary, as well as hours. Contact Elyssin if interested.
