An Important Message Regarding Cook-Off 2021
Dear supporters,
We hope you are all safe and well.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has announced the new dates of the rodeo as May 4 – 23, 2021.
They also announced that other scheduled events such as the HLSR BBQ Cook-off will also be moved to coincide with the May rodeo however nothing has been finalized yet.
We have secured our spot and are excited to host you.
As decisions are announced regarding the BBQ Cook-off, we will send out information regarding Cougar Cookers and our plans for 2021. Please keep in mind, our committee will take the health and safety of our donors and patrons into consideration while doing our best to align with our mission of raising scholarships for the University of Houston and supporting the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Rules
No one under 21 admitted after 7 pm (this applies to children accompanied by parents as well). This is a strictly enforced Rodeo rule.
All persons entering the booth MUST have a wristband.
All donors and guests, including volunteers, must enter through front entrance. Information on volunteer opportunities will be available at the February meeting.
Please be respectful of the other donors and guests and DO NOT ask to have your guest brought to the front of the line when there is a waiting line to get into the booth.
Wristbands are non-transferable. Guests MUST have a wristband and must go through the front entrance; this allows us to keep an accurate count of wristbands used.
